I was nominated by a sweet friend and fellow civic leader, Bethany Ballard, to be featured in Indiana Tech’s art installation Living a Life of Worth and Significance. It was truly an honor to be mentioned among so many wonderful fellow citizen for my work at Redbud Orchard and other beautification efforts.
While anxiously awaiting Spring, I have ordered a couple hundred more plugs from Heartland Restoration Services and bare root plants from Prairie Moon. I also pretty anxious to find out how many of last year’s plugs will make it back this year. Fingers crossed that I picked good plants for their locations and they survived the winter!
